Skyghene is a Gear piloted by Tolone in Xenogears.
Description[edit]
Resembling a Pterodactyl, Skyghene is a gear that specializes in high speed attacks. It has a high gain wind ether ability. When fusing into G-Elements, it becomes the Gear's wings. When on its own it uses the wings to maintain balance for high speed jumps. It is also capable of fusing to the back of Bladegash.
Analysis[edit]
Skyghene is the Gear piloted by Tolone, one of the Elements. The party only fights it directly at one part during the game, when the party is seeking to fire a shot from Fort Jasper at Babel Tower's mirror to destroy a Gate. Tolone and Seraphita attack the party and fight them in two separate battles with their Gears. The Gear later appears at the first Anima Dungeon, but combines with the other 3 Element Gears to fight the party as G-Elements. Tolone pilots the Gear when the Elements head to Merkava, although the party doesn't fight them at this time.
