Swordknight is a Gear piloted by Stratski in Xenogears.
Description[edit]
Swordknight was originally developed to have 4 arms, although because of its inherent complexities, no pilot for it could be found. As such it was changed to the current form which uses a chain sword, a general use sword emerging from the lower arm portion. It is able to make a wide spread attack pattern. A gatling gun is equipped in the right arm and was placed their for the specific use of the Gebler Special Forces. It is highly treasured among the group.
Story[edit]
Swordknight is one of the five Gears utilized by the Gebler Special Forces, specifically piloted by Stratski. It first appears when the group launches a night time attack on the Pirate's Headquarters. Bart takes it on in one-on-one combat. Fei later encounters it in the mountains near the Aveh - Kislev border, and has to take on both the Clawknight and the Aegisknight in the same battle. It is used one final time in the game when Gebler launches an attack on Nortune. During this battle Fei takes it on one-on-one.
