Dora is a Gear piloted by Vanderkaum in Xenogears.
Description[edit]
Dora is an anti-vessel weapon that was excavated and had been a main battle power in the desert in a long ago era. Vessels' strong framework could be pierced by the cannon loaded on the Dora, and its shell is capable of withstanding their attacks. However the excavation of it took several months at the end of which the main cannon was sent off to oppose Gears from the naval vessels.
Story[edit]
Dora was a Gear loaded onto the Kefeinzel, a ship that was used by Aveh at the border with Kislev. When the Kefeinzel was defeated by Fei in his Weltall, Vanderkaum entered the Dora and used it to attack. Grahf soon appeared and provided the Gear with even more power. As a result, the Dora was able to defeat and kill all of Fei's allies. This caused the Id persona to appear out of Fei, which promptly destroyed the Dora. Its wreckage was later found by Citan.
