Clawknight is a Gear piloted by Vance in Xenogears.
Description[edit]
Clawknight's large left arm was originally used for scraping rock layers at excavaction sites but has been reconfigured for usage in battle.
Story[edit]
Clawknight is one of the five Gears utilized by the Gebler Special Forces, specifically piloted by Vance. It first appears when the group launches a night time attack on the Pirate's Headquarters. Fei takes it on in one-on-one combat. Fei later encounters it in the mountains near the Aveh - Kislev border, and has to take on both the Aegisknight and the Swordknight in the same battle. It is used one final time in the game when Gebler launches an attack on Nortune. During this battle Fei takes it on one-on-one.
