The Lightforge is a submarine craft used by Gebler in Xenogears.

Description

This craft is Solaris' ultra advances sand diving vessel. It lacks the outer propulsion rings that the Yggdrasil has, but it is able to skim the surface and use the movement of the tail and the wings for propulsion and tactical movements in battle. As such the hull has an ultra hard barrier that makes an outer ring drive shaft unnecessary. The ship is loaded with many extras making it move powerful than other ships of its type. The slave generator behind the propulsion weapons was not excavated but rather independently developed by Solaris and used for a trial period on this vessel. Due to the new mechanism, the ship is able to dive faster and quieter than other vessels in its class.

Analysis

The Lightforge is used by Ramsus and Miang when they battle Bart and the Sand Pirates in the desert of the Aveh - Kislev Border.
