Mugwort (テンポウ, Tenpou) is a Human-Gear hybrid that appears in Xenogears.
Description[edit]
Mugwort is a blue mantis-like Gear with two bladed claws on its right arm. Originally a subordinate of Krelian 500 years ago within the Monastery Corps, Mugwort was killed defending Sophia and had his personal data preserved. He was resurrected as the central command portion of this Gear. Almost nothing of his original human personality remains and it uses almost entirely collective battle instincts.
Story[edit]
Mugwort's only appearance in the game occurs at Golgoda, where it, along with the Gear Rattan are tasked to fight Elly, who is piloting El-Regrs. Mugwort acts rather rudely to Elly and is destroyed along with Rattan shortly afterwards.
