Amphysvena is an Omnigear piloted by Krelian and Ramsus in Xenogears.
Description[edit]
Amphysvena is primarily purple in color. While mostly humanoid in appearance, it has a snake-like tail as well as what appears to be a second torso, head and arms on top of its head.
Story[edit]
Amphysvena is Krelian's Omnigear, and was aligned with the Anima Relic Judah approximately 500 years before the game. Krelian uses it when he heads to Mahanon and after that when he has the party held hostage at Golgoda. The party never actually fights Krelian in this Gear however as he hands it over to Ramsus, who can align with any Anima Relic, to use in his place. The party fights and defeats him at Merkava.
