Aegisknight is a Gear piloted by Broyer in Xenogears.
Description[edit]
Aegisknight was created with the intent to support comrades and the commanding officer. Both of its shoulders are equipped with a high shielding ability. The upper portion of them contain rocket launchers and the very tip has built in pile banger bullets of sharp steel. It is a general use machine that has both long range and short range fighting capabilities and can act in unison with the other Gears.
Story[edit]
Aegisknight is one of the five Gears utilized by the Gebler Special Forces, specifically piloted by Broyer. It first appears when the group launches a night time attack on the Pirate's Headquarters. Citan takes it on in one-on-one combat. Fei later encounters it in the mountains near the Aveh - Kislev border, and has to take on both the Clawknight and the Swordknight in the same battle. It is used one final time in the game when Gebler launches an attack on Nortune. During this battle Fei takes it on one-on-one.
