El-Regrs is an Omnigear piloted by Elly and Sophia in Xenogears.
Description[edit]
El-Regrs shares a similar color scheme to Vierge being white and pink. It has pink, feather-shaped appendages coming from its head and hips. It uses a rod as a weapon.
Story[edit]
El-Regrs was created 500 years ago through Sophia aligning with the Anima Relic Dinah. After Sophia's death it was held in Shevat. When Elly first arrived at Shevat, the Gear started moving in reaction to her, a sign of her connection with Sophia. When Fei and Elly flee from Shevat, Elly refuses an offer from Citan to pilot it, being afraid to do so. She continues to refrain from piloting it during Disc 2. However when Fei and the others are seized by Krelian and crucified at Golgoda, Elly overcomes her fear and pilots it there. Krelian has the Gears Rattan and Mugwort fight her and while she is successful in defeating them, she collapses from exhaustion shortly afterwards. Krelian seizes Elly and her Gear and it is not seen again.
Unlike the other Omnigears possessed by the party, El-Regrs is never controllable by the player during the game, although it can be used in the Battling Arena minigame. Additionally, it has internal combat status, suggesting it was intended to be playable, but the rushed nature of Disc 2 prevented it.
