Opiomoprh is an omnigear piloted by Miang in Xenogears.

Description

Opimorph has the head, torso and arms of a human but lacks legs, instead having the tail of a snake. It has 4 large wings coming out of its back and white horns coming out of its head.

Analysis

Opiomorph is an omnigear piloted by Miang. It's time of creation is unknown, as is the Anima Relic it has been aligned with, although it is presumably one of the four not specified as being with a modern Gear during the game (Levi, Isaachar, Reuben and Simeon). Fei, Elly and Citan come across it while traveling through Solaris, held in a large room immersed in water. Miang uses it when Solaris forces head to Mahanon, as well as when Krelian holds the party hostage at Golgoda. The party fights it at Merkava. After defeating it, the Gear immediately recovers and Krelian reveals that it is built with nanomachines and for all intents and purposes indestructible. After Krelian and Miang (now possessing Elly) leave, it is presumably absorbed into Deus and does not appear again.

Urobolus, the final boss, looks like a living version of Opiomorph.
