Siren, a class of Artifice

Artifices are unmanned machines and an enemy type found in Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and Torna ~ The Golden Country. They were created by the Trinity Processor to protect the Conduit and the First Low Orbit Station. They were later used by the Aegises, Mythra and Malos, as tools of war.

Story[edit]

After the Coalition Government's research division, Aoidos, created the artificial intelligence collective known as the Trinity Processor to maintain the Conduit, the Trinity Processor in turn created the Artifices. Artifices are unmanned machines that have no internal engine. Instead, Artifices receive energy inputs from the Conduit through the emerald colored, conduit-shaped crystal that each one has. The energy inputs are then sent to the Artifice's Salve Generator, which allows it to move. Different types of Artifices were created by the Trinity Processor to protect the Conduit and the orbital ring where it was stored. One of these types are the Siren class of Artifices which use a Slave Generator-powered particle beam.

Gameplay[edit]

During the final battle of Torna, the ability to Chain Attack is temporarily replaced with calling Siren to use an "Artifice Art". After this is done four times, chain attacks are available again.
