Sovereign
Sovereigns are an enemy species in Xenoblade Chronicles 2. They are machines left behind by an ancient civilization. Many types of Sovereigns exist, taking many forms and having different roles.
Xenoblade Chronicles 2[edit]
Sovereigns are found in the World Tree, seemingly acting as its guardians, and the First Low Orbit Station, where a patrol of Familion type sovereigns arrive while opening the door leading to Aion Hangar Entrance. Damaged Sovereigns can be found in the Land of Morytha. Two sub-species of Sovereigns can also be found, the Scout which will seek nearby groups of enemies during battle and aggro them toward the party, and the Runner. Remains of Sovereigns can very rarely be salvaged, such as the Calamity Puzzle which needs to be found during Salvage King.
Sovereign Unique monsters often take the name "Haywire [subspecies]" or "Mk. VI [subspecies]".
