Desert is an area in Xenogears. Fei travels through it after visiting the town of Dazil.

Story

While Fei and Citan visit the town of Dazil, Citan heads off on his own to find replacement parts for Weltall. After a while passes, Fei gets worried and heads into the desert after him. Fei quickly gets lost in the seemingly endless desert. He eventually spots a mysterious flying object, which is revealed later in the game to be Shevat. He is able to steal a motorcycle from an Aveh Soldier, which hastens his travels until he is stopped by several Gears. Citan shows up in Weltall to help. Soon after Grahf reveals himself to Fei, including the fact that he was responsible for the attack on Lahan Village. He summons a Wyrm to attack Fei and leaves. While Fei defeats the Wyrm, he and Citan are captured by the Aveh military soon afterwards.

Geography

The desert makes up a large portion of the country of Aveh and also spans much of the continent of Ignas. Fei enters it near the town of Dazil.
