The Orphanage is an area in Xenogears. It is an orphanage run by Billy.
Story[edit]
The orphanage was founded by Billy three years before the event of the game. As one who lost his mother as a child and had his father abandon him, Billy decided to care for others in similar circumstances. While he was employed as an Etone, he earned little money and had to run the orphanage without relying on the help of others. The party heads to the Orphanage in order to thank Billy after he helps Fei get medical treatment in the Ethos Headquarters. Here Billy reveals his past to the group. Jessie also appears and heads off to reminisce with Citan and Sigurd. Bishop Stone eventually arrives and asks Billy to help deal with a missing Ethos Transport Ship, which recently turned up. Later it is revealed that Billy stores his Gear Renmazuo in a bunker underneath the Orphanage.
The party is able to find the son of the monster Redrum at the orphanage and realize that it was originally human.
