The Lighthouse is an area in Xenogears. It is an optional area that can be visited on Disc 2.
Story[edit]
The Lighthouse is a passageway to a part of the city from the Zeboim civilization. By traveling here the party is able to find the wreckage of a subway system, a TV studio, a convenience store and other areas. Big Joe runs a shop here where powerful items can be bought. In the convenience store, the party can learn more about the Eldridge, as well as Big Joe's backstory. At the TV studio, the party can view a recording of Zeboim's culture including that includes that era's Miang. By visiting a certain area and bringing Emeralda along, the player is able experience a flashback involving Kim and Elly. Emeralda transforms to an adult afterwards.
Geography[edit]
The Lighthouse is in the Aquvy region, to the northeast of Babel Tower. It is unmarked on the map and can only be visited on Disc 2.
