Voltis Trade Guild
Voltis Trade Guild is one of the eleven Nopon trade guilds in Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and Torna ~ The Golden Country.
Lore[edit]
The guild was founded at an unknown point. During the Aegis War, the Voltis Trade Guild is described as the "hottest trade guild" in Alrest. During the five hundred years between the end of the war and the beginning of Xenoblade Chronicles 2, the guild became the second biggest of the eleven Nopon trade guilds.
While not much is known about the Voltis Trade Guild's business, the guild has an apparel branch. As Foorara is presented as the guild's heir, it is likely that the title of Chairman is inherited.
The guild has a tradition unique to it, the Walky-Walky. It is a special rite of passage that every guild Nopon must go through after becoming five years old. During their Walky-Walky, a Voltis Nopon must visit the major regions of Alrest alone. Moreover, they cannot visit the same place twice. During the time of the Aegis War, the Kingdom of Torna was one of the pilgrimage's destination, as shown by Dekudeku's presence in Auresco. At the time of Xenoblade Chronicles 2, every Nopon embarking on their Walky-Walky appears to also be given a guide.
