The Shield Trooper Class is a third-level Class the player character in Xenoblade Chronicles X can choose after mastering the Striker Class. It uses a new set of weapons, the Gatling Gun and the Shield, to focus on defensive boosts and inflicting Taunt and Topple. When reaching Rank 10 it's possible to upgrade to the Bastion Warrior Class.
