Quest (XC1)/Party member dialogue

In Xenoblade Chronicles, there are many times during quests where one or two active party members will make a comment on the situation. These pieces of dialogue are fairly generic, designed so that any party member can jump in at the same moment and have the result still make sense.

Every permanent party member has a comment for six specific situations, which is said by the leader. Every other party member has two possible responses: one of them adding 20 points of affinity between them and the leader, and the other adding 50 points and prompting an extra response by the leader. The exception is the "declined" situation, only seen when a quest is not accepted, which subtracts the same amount of affinity instead. It is random which of the three results occur.

Future Connected has much the same system, but slightly more limited: no affinity is involved, and what would be the 20-affinity option is not present.

In addition to this, many quests have an extra chunk of dialogue that only occurs if a certain character is in the active party. These pieces of dialogue are quest-specific and so not listed here.
