A Day in the Life is Vandham's Affinity Mission in Xenoblade Chronicles X. This mission is located within the BLADE Barracks and can be found any time after Chapter 4 is completed.
Commander Vandham visits the barracks for a cup of joe, while Tatsu considers he may have too much time on his wings. Vandham thinks it shows BLADE's running smoothly, but Elma thinks he might just have a cushy job. As retaliation, the commander orders Team Elma to meet him at various times during the day to see his real job.
Objectives[edit]
- Head to Barista Court in the morning (7:00-12:00).
- Head to the Hangar during the afternoon (12:00-17:00).
- Get a Blue Electrical Tentacle from Placid Duoguills or others in Primordia.
- These enemies appear at night at the Silent Mire.
- Talk to Cedric at the hangar in the administrative district.
- Gather info in the Administrative District on the commander's nighttime place of work.
- This info, "The Commander's Night Post", can be found outside the hangar on the corner with all of the containers leading into the Commercial District, or next to the elevator from the hangar to the upper level of the Administrative District at the top. Only one of these places needs to be visited for this step.
- Male Mechanic (lower level): "Even when night falls and Commander Vandham returns to BLADE Tower, the hangars are hopping. You wouldn't believe how much we have to repair before sunrise!"
- Female BLADE (upper level): "At night, Commander Vandham goes to handle his duties at BLADE Tower. I don't know how a guy that busy still manages to smile like he does."
- Investigate the BLADE Tower door at night. (19:00-5:00)
- Defeat the Sailing Grex in Primordia's Biahno Grassland.
- Return to BLADE Tower and report to Commander Vandham.
