Hope Springs Eternal is Hope's recruitment Affinity Mission in Xenoblade Chronicles X. This mission is located at the Cathedral in the Residential District and can be found any time after Chapter 3 is completed.
Hope Alanzi, a Mediator, talks to people in New LA to help them through their issues. Cross comes to ask about finding ten natural pearls for their mission, and she offers her own necklace to help with the mission. Ornella is against it, since the necklace is a memento of Hope's father, but she still gives it because she knows that it'll make somebody else happy.
Next, Ada comes to ask about mimeosome conception because she's been living with somebody, and Cross helps Hope give some advice about it.
Afterward, the Nopon Lularita came because it was the one place where aid is being given for free. Drongo Caravan is under attack from Cauldros beasts, and she'd like Hope's help to defeat them at their lair.

- Defeat five Mold Caro at the Scholes Battlegrounds.
- Talk to Lularita at Cauldros's Drongo Caravan.
- Report to Ornella in the Residential District.
