Augments

Augment drop explanation

The amount of empty Augment slots and Augment effects and their effects on a weapon that's dropped by enemies are randomly chosen. Their probabilities and pool of effects are further dependent on whether the weapon was obtained from a silver or gold treasure chest.

The left table ("Amounts") displays the probability that a weapon has at least this many additional Augment effects and empty slots, so if "Empty slots (silver)" shows a probability of "10%" for "x2", that means the weapon has a 10% chance of having at least two empty Augment slots. The amount of additional effects also determines the rarity of the weapon.

The right two tables ("Augments (silver)" and "Augments (gold)") show the Augment effects that this weapon can obtain, as well as their respective probabilities. When an effect is assigned, it is removed from the pool; the same effect cannot be assigned twice. Weapons from gold chests are guaranteed to have at least one Augment effect from the gold table, although any other effects are more likely to be from the silver table. Weapons from silver chests may have Augment effects from either table. In either case, the exact likelihood of a weapon having effects from a specific table is in general unknown.
