As the name suggests it revolves around the original Zohar as an energy generator. However once the Gnosis leapt into the forefront of history, its purpose was partially changed to dealing with the Gnosis phenomenon. The Contact Subcommittee played a central role of it implementation. It is a joint effort between the S.O.C.E., Second Miltia, and Vector.
