Xenoblade Chronicles 3 – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition is an enhanced port of Xenoblade Chronicles 3 for the Nintendo Switch 2. It includes features such as enhanced graphics, a new Hero and quest, and additional gameplay features.

The Nintendo Switch 2 Edition is available both as a standalone purchase and as a paid upgrade to the original version of Xenoblade Chronicles 3 for the Nintendo Switch.

List of changes[edit]

  • The resolution has been upgraded to 4K in docked mode and 1080p in portable mode. Likewise, the framerate has been increased to 60 frames per second.
  • A new defensive battle mode is added, which entails fighting against multiple waves of enemies.
  • A new Hero is added, with an associated Hero Quest.
  • Main-story cutscenes ("event scenes") are updated to be fully voiced in both English and Japanese.
