Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition is an enhanced port of Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition for the Nintendo Switch 2. It includes features such as enhanced graphics, additional voice acting, and additional gameplay features.

The Nintendo Switch 2 Edition is available both as a standalone purchase and as a paid upgrade to the original version of Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition for the Nintendo Switch.

List of changes[edit]

  • The resolution has been upgraded to 4K in docked mode and 1080p in portable mode. Likewise, the framerate has been increased to 60 frames per second.
  • A new feature, the Ether Jet, has been added. This allows for much faster traversal of the world.
  • New armor which changes the characters' appearances have been added.
  • Voice acting has been added to Heart-to-Hearts in both English and Japanese.
  • Controller rumble has been added during key events.
