With People and Darkness is Disc 5, Track 3 on the Xenoblade2 Original Soundtrack and Disc 10, Track 3 on the Xenoblade Chronicles Original Soundtrack Trinity Box. Its melody includes a motif from Elysium, in the Blue Sky.

Xenoblade Chronicles 2[edit]

  • Mythra and Malos engage in destructive battle over the Kingdom of Torna (flashback).
  • Amalthus climbs the World Tree and returns with the Aegis cores (flashback).
  • Lora awakens Jin and is attacked by Gort (flashback).
  • Mythra explains her belief that Malos is damaged to the Indoline summit.
  • Eulogimenos orders the destruction of Pyra.
  • The party looks upon a battleground from the Aegis War near Genbu Crown.
  • Amalthus learns of Rex's defeat at Genbu Crown, and visions of the Trinity Processor and the Architect are briefly shown.
  • Eulogimenos fully explains (what he believes to be) the bloodline of the Tantalese and the founding of the country.

回想シーンの曲で悲惨な歴史というテーマで作りました。孤独感と虚無感を抱えて彷徨っている時どんな音が鳴るのか。なにかに押しつぶされそうで、頭が重くなる感じなのでしょうか。なにか音が微かに現れては去っていく。そんなイメージで書きました。ファゴットの音色が低い音なのですが、いい雰囲気を出していますね。高橋総監督からの要望でメインテーマのフレーズを少し入れました。ゲーム中どのように流れるか楽しみです。
