Water Discharge (水エレメント発射, Water Element Launch) is one of Melia's discharge arts in Xenoblade Chronicles and Future Connected. It uses water to steal a small amount of HP from the target and give it to Melia.

While this art has a name and short description in the game data, they are not displayed; only the generic Elemental Discharge information is shown instead.

Overview

Since summoning aquas has a low cooldown, discharging them is probably the fastest she can build talent gauge, and since they're weak doing so won't provoke much aggro. The burst of healing from discharging an aqua is nice, but it's not quite enough for Melia to be considered self-sufficient.

Data

Note that discharge arts have two hits that serve different purposes. The first hit is when the elemental's passive buff stops and Melia gains talent gauge. The second hit is when the elemental deals damage and inflicts status (if any).
