the image theme of Xenosaga II is Disc 2, Track 17 on the Xenosaga II: Jenseits von Gut und Böse ~Movie Scene Soundtrack~ and Track 11 on the Xenosaga Episode II: Jenseits von Gut und Böse Soundtrack.

While it does not play in-game in Xenosaga Episode II, it does play in the trial version of Xenosaga EPISODE II that was included in Xenosaga Freaks: it plays in the first cutscene that shows the E.S. Asher arriving to the streets of Miltia and the first bonus video.

It then appears in Xenosaga Episode III's Japanese Pre-order Bonus DVD featuring a special trailer for Xenosaga Episode II where it plays throughout the whole trailer.[1]

The image theme of Xenosaga II #piano ver. is a remix of the start of this track, and it samples in the beginning, there was.... The track after 0:52 is a remix of fatal fight (Jin & Margulis).

the image theme of Xenosaga II is a live performance of the image theme of Xenosaga II performed at FictionJunction 2008-2010 The BEST of Yuki Kajiura LIVE, a live performance of Kajiura's works on the 12th of May 2010. It was also included as Disc 2, Track 2 on the associated album.

The performance features an additional 'verse' of lyrics (beginning with 'Consoli adito...') not featured on the version in the game's soundtrack.
