不安定な未来に対し抱く暗めな思案思惑というテーマで作りました。総監督から「映像的には、やや高めな気温と温度の夕暮れ時。西日が差し込み 室内に黒い影が伸びている。窓際の椅子に座り、身じろぎせず独り思案する壮年の男のシルエット」 というイメージを頂いたので、とても映像的に制作できた曲です。ストリングスのハーモニクスで窓越しに光る実存しない物の雰囲気を出せないかと 思い、そこから着手した曲です。

This piece’s theme is the dark thoughts that one holds in the face of an uncertain future. The director’s concept was “Imagine a slightly hot and humid evening. The setting sun casts a dark shadow inside of a room. There is a silhouette of a young man sitting in a chair by the windowsill, motionless, deep in thought, alone.” This theme came together in a very conceptual way from that image. I came up with the string harmonics to conjure the feeling of an illusory figure seen through a window, and worked from there.
