Original text

This song was made to fill the role of “Crisis 2”.[1] I made it to be a little heavier and more orchestral than Running. After a discordant start there is a moment of calm, which gradually escalates into a final melody. I once again learned that I have trouble composing crisis songs unless I do it in order (at one point I had a bunch of motifs laying around and no way to tie them together...). The live recording was tricky, but the orchestra managed. I’m also looking forward to seeing where this one is used.
Notes[edit]
- ↑ While there is a song in Xenoblade 1 titled “Crisis,” this is probably a reference to some sort of internal request document. Running, also from Xenoblade 2, has a similar sentence in its liner notes that it fills the role of “Crisis 1”.
