Story arc[edit]

Xenoblade Chronicles[edit]

Teelan is a young boy living in Alcamoth, wanting to be a scientist when he grows up. He request the party to find some Golden Caterpillars he was researching in a text book. When Bionis awakens, he and Miriall got separated while escaping Alcamoth and is left behind. Miriall requests the party to rescue him from Alcamoth. The party finds Teelan in the Telethia infested city and returns to Miriall safely. After his rescue, Teelan requests the party to find some documents in a secret Telethia Laboratory in the High Entia Tomb, hoping to use these notes to reverse the Telethia transformation.

Teelan's father was killed by the Fog King prior to Future Connected.

As an NPC[edit]

Teelan is an NPC in Alcamoth. He can be found on Melfica Road next to the main escalator. After he is rescued in The Missing Boy, he moves to the Ether Plant in the Eryth Sea area.

After escorting Teelan back to the laboratory, he can be found inside at all times with Tyrea. He and Tyrea disappear once the rift appears outside of Alcamoth.

After Gael'gar’s attack on the laboratory, Teelan can be found in Gran Dell, standing alongside Radzam near the Grand Arch from 6:00 to 18:00. He disappears during the second Fogbeast attack, but will return once it has been repelled.

I had heaps and heaps of notes in my lab in Alcamoth, so I couldn't get them all out when we were escaping...
Big Sis and I have been going back for them whenever we had a chance...but there's still more of them left to get.

Between 18:00 and 5:00:

When I speak with people about my research, they're all incredibly supportive. Big Sis, Radzam, all sort of other folks...
It's all thanks to them that I can use the transporters, or even work on my research at all!

After the laboratory is destroyed

It's a shame about the lab burning up, but I'm glad at least everyone's all right...

High Ether Crystals are incredibly rare, so I have no clue where to find them... If we had one, we might stand a chance...

I don't imagine we'll be able to rebuild the lab for a while, so in the meantime, I hope Radzam won't mind us working at his.

I knew you guys were something else! You really got the High Ether Crystal! Now you can finally face the Fog King...
