Consul[edit]

Where is it stated, that she is a consul? --Tirex367 (talk) 05:17, 19 April 2023 (EDT)

You're right, I don't think it's confirmed anywhere, only assumed. I'll move the page. STM (t) 08:18, 19 April 2023 (EDT)
It is very likely that A is Consul A, but yeah it is best to wait for the release of Future Redeemed and see if it is true or not. --Monado mario (talk) 00:24, 21 April 2023 (EDT)

"This is the gender field, not the sex field"[edit]

This is so crass.

Why are Xeno wiki-admins all idololgy-driven trans-activists?

A is female, she is not nonbinary or anything. No matter how much you want her to be.

Admins abusing their power to prevent her Wiki-page from being correctly updated is pure bs, so I'm gonna vent here. You have fun with your ladydicks. Fuck off. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.138.194.214 (talk, contribs) 18:13, 7 April 2024‎ (EDT)

Since it appears no record of discussion made it to this page, I might as well note it here: the current state of the page is the result of agreement among multiple editors in the Discord server, that even if A is biologically female, this means nothing for pronouns or gender. Wow, people sound so awkwardly aggressive on the internet when hiding behind their keyboard, especially when it comes to gender nowadays. This ain't the first rodeo where a video game character has different gender description between regions and language in a Nintendo game. This could be Nintendo of Europe (I assume they're the one who did the localizing for XC3 and FR) try to be more inclusive for some characters, but at the end of the day it doesn't matter much in my opinion.--Monado mario (talk) 07:13, 23 April 2024 (EDT)

Gender[edit]

We have an official source calling her female, so that's what this article should reflect —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.226.99.212 (talk, contribs) 21:59, 13 February 2025‎ (EST)

Perhaps I was too brash in editing this so quickly. But I personally believe that the fate of this subject should be left to a public poll, just so we can see what the majority of people think. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.226.99.212 (talk, contribs) 23:12, 13 February 2025‎‎ (EST)

When it comes to contentious subjects such as this, majority rule is not necessarily correct. In addition, it can be argued that said artbook info contradicts game-given info, and the latter naturally takes precedence. The page currently lists all sides and makes the least judgemental statement, which is the safest thing to do. STM (t) 23:22, 13 February 2025 (EST)
The artbook is an official source. The game's files are an offical source. There's no reason to throw out official sources, especially because A being a woman contradicts nothing. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.226.99.212 (talk, contribs) 23:29, 13 February 2025‎ (EST)
Well see here's the thing: being "a woman" and being "female" are not actually linked to each other, you can be either without being the other. Usually they're in tandem, but given how many hoops the localisers jumped through to avoid giving A any pronouns, it's obvious that something is unusual here. Thus, why we say the gender is "unclear" and elaborate why in the notes. STM (t) 23:47, 13 February 2025 (EST)
