The SnowfieldHideout, spelled the Snowfield Hideout on the Yggdrasil's map is an area in Xenogears. It is the crashed remains of Shevat.
Story[edit]
After the destruction of Merkava and the appearance of the final form of Deus, the party takes cover at the SnowfieldHideout, the remains of Shevat after it was blasted out of the sky and crashed to the land below. Here the party members are able to meet up with old friends and colleagues including the following:
- Queen Zephyr can be spoken to and as part of the conversation there is a flashback to the final appearance of Ramsus and the Elements aboard the Yggdrasil.
- Hans, one of the few survivors from the Thames can be found along with his family. The Thames Captain also reveals that he is alive.
- Fei can reconcile with Dan, who has finally come to terms with the fact that Fei is not responsible for the destruction of Lahan Village.
Geography[edit]
The SnowfieldHideout is located on a snow-covered island on the southern edge of the world. The SnowfieldHideout serves as the last bastion of civlization on the planet.
