This article is about the Battle Art in Xenoblade Chronicles. For the Battle Art in Xenoblade Chronicles 3, see Shadow Eye (XC3).

Shadow Eye (シャドーアイ, Shadow Eye) is one of Shulk's support Battle Arts in Xenoblade Chronicles and Future Connected. It reduces the amount of aggro he has from all enemies and increases the damage of physical arts for a short time.

Overview[edit]

Shadow Eye has two effects that somewhat conflict with each other. Its more important use is as a "get off me" move, a panic button for Shulk to push when he's taken too much aggro and needs to chill. When used this way, it's best to then stand down and avoid using the damage boost in order to not just get the aggro back immediately. Alternatively, Shulk can use the art mainly for the damage boost, with the aggro cut hopefully making up for the extra he's about to generate.
