Landmark (XC1)

Landmarks are special points points in the world of Xenoblade Chronicles and Future Connected. They serve as skip travel points. Discovering a landmark by getting close to it awards the player with a fixed amount of EXP, AP and SP. Once all landmarks, locations and Secret Areas are discovered, the map will automatically be completed. Some landmarks become inaccessible later in the game, and during some brief story moments, skip travel is disabled entirely.

Secret Areas

Secret Areas are the same as landmarks in just about every way. They are much rarer than regular landmarks, generally harder to find and award much more EXP, AP and SP.
