Description

Scutum is a unit developed by Hyams Heavy Industries and specifically tuned for the usage of Ormus Inquisitors.

Story

Hermann pilots Scutum when he and Richard pursue MOMO once the party arrives on Second Miltia. He uses it to force the party off the highway and chase them through the city, eventually doing battle with them. He retreats under Pellegri's orders once Canaan appears in Asher. Hermann appears using Scutum later in the game when the party makes their way through Ormus Stronghold where it is defeated and destroyed.

The A.M.W.S. piloted by Hermann.

An A.M.W.S. made by Hyams Heavy Industries. The name "Scutum" means "shield" in Latin. It has been specially tuned for the use of Ormus Inquisitors, and is piloted by Hermann.

It was destroyed in the battle with Shion's party at the Ormus Stronghold.

E.S.スキュータム

E.S.復元用テストベースであったハイアムズ社製のA.M.W.S.『スキュータム』にアニマの器を搭載し、擬似E.S.として稼動させている機体。
急造機であるが故、オルムス内で定めるアニマの器がもたらす本来の出力を達成できていないため、冠せられるはずの氏族名はなく、A.M.W.S.の機体名がそのまま使われている。
機体名の『スキュータム』とはラテン語で盾という意味である。
搭乗者はヘルマン。
