This nopon here's just arrived to do a bit of sightseeing around Argentum.
I keep saying the Central Exchange is inside Goldmouth, just after you enter the ship, but he just doesn't get it.
And now he wants me to take him up to Lemour Inn on the third floor!
I'm a salvager, not a tour guide!

Chapter 2[edit]

I've been in the salvaging business twenty years now. Let me give you a bit of advice.
The area you salvage in'll determine what you find.
And you'll find that some places are harder to salvage in than others.
If you can't find what you're looking for in one place, try elsewhere.
Say I can't find something here up on the Salvage Deck. I'll just head over to the Maelstrom instead.
Oh, and one more thing. Don't be surprised if monsters end up coming after you.
Sometimes you've gotta make a stand against the critters of the Cloud Sea if you want to get the good stuff.

Apparently salvaging with one of those will bag you an incredible treasure every single time!
Well, strictly speaking it's because they let you search around in the Cloud Sea for ages, until you find the best stuff.
The Argentum Guild can manufacture ordinary cylinders, but nobody has the technology to make premium ones.
All the ones you see on the market were made in ancient times. That's why they're so rare and expensive.
If you do have any, I'd suggest saving them for when you really need them.

I heard it's possible to salvage even from the World Tree itself!
Diving into the Cloud Sea from all the way up there… Sounds scary!
But as a salvager, I'd sure like to try it myself someday.
Who knows what kind of rare treasures you might be able to haul up around those parts?
