Ribbi Flats is an area in Xenoblade Chronicles 3. It is the central section of the Fornis Region.
Geography[edit]
Ribbi Flats is covered in grass and trees, not quite as lush as the Rae-Bel Tableland but much more so than the bordering Eagus Wilderness and Dannagh Desert. Despite its name, it is far from flat; while there are several expansive plains, the area itself spans many altitude levels.
Northernmost and lowest is the Sparres Barr, featuring Llyn Nyddwr, notable for containing the entrance to the Land of Challenge. Further south is the Tonic Waters, a river sourced from Magglia Lake. Surrounding this lake is the path upward; first to Laprel Knoll to the west (which allows access to Isla Passerat off the west edge) and the Igno Viaduct back around to the east, then to the Caitlin Drum. Here, the path to the Rae-Bel Tableland is accessible at Elsie's Spout.
From Caitlin Drum, Ribbi Flats extends north to the Grun Slope, eventually leading to Colony 30, which itself has a hidden passage to the southwest leading to the Beik Vault and Paltir Hillock. Further east, the vegetation thins and dies in the Terra Wastelands, which eventually lead to the Tirkin Headquarters.
