Rear Guard Art
Rear Guard Arts are a combat mechanic in Torna ~ The Golden Country. They are performed by the characters in the Rear Guard, and occur automatically without character input. The main-game Xenoblade Chronicles 2 equivalent are Blade Arts.

Rear Guard Arts provide a variety of effects: several are direct attacks on the currently-targeted enemy, while others directly debuff the enemy or buff the Vanguard character.
Rear Guard Arts, like Vanguard Arts, come in six levels, and can be levelled up to level 5 using WP. The effective level of a Rear Guard Art goes up by one when the Driver and Blade are at maximum Affinity; this (in conjunction with a level 5 Rear Guard Art) is the only way of using Rear Guard Arts at level 6. Rear Guard Arts at higher levels typically have lower cooldown (albeit still substantially greater than that of Vanguard Arts), deal greater damage, and/or have more effective special effects.
