Phog Christoph (フォグ・クリストフ) is a recruitable character in Xenoblade Chronicles X, and Frye Christoph's younger brother. He can be recruited after completing the Affinity Mission named Foggy Dilemma.
As a Prospector, he often works with ore and other materials within the city.
Appearance and personality[edit]
Phog has pale blond short hair which covers his right eye. His default armor is a casual shirt and shorts combination.
Phog is typically quiet, shy, and indecisive, compared to his older brother Frye. He is sometimes unaware of things he himself has said, or things he's just done. That being said, he warms up to people who are patient with him, unlike his older brother who's much more impatient. He tends to downplay his own combat skills, but he tends to overestimate his foes at the same time.
Character Bio[edit]
Phog is quite shy, and adheres to his own natural rhythm above all. Due to these unique qualities, he prefers to carry out assignments alone. His genius-like traits have, however, nurtured excellent skills in the field.
Battle Style[edit]
Phog uses a standard Winged Viper style. His proficiency with a blade is most apparent when in dangerous situations.
Story arc[edit]
Foggy Dilemma[edit]
Phog initially meets Cross when they accept his assignment, Foggy Dilemma. He explains that he was surprised someone accepted his request. He's got an assignment as a Prospector to fix Data Probes the Pathfinders put down that have been acting up. That being said, he's reluctant to take the job, since it involves going into the field, which he finds dangerous. But ultimately, with Cross's support, he gets the courage to take the mission.
In Oblivia, he examines the sites of the data probes and notices that something has been pulling them out of the ground. Partway through the analysis, he somehow manages to direct the team back to the first probe. Phog laments that his brother has been telling him to focus and that he hasn't made much progress on his end. He then points the team the right way, and notices a contingent of Ganglion digging them up. He was initially worried that it was a much larger foe, but decides the best course of action is to stop them from causing any more damage to the probes. Once the Ganglion squad is taken out, he thanks Cross for helping him get over his anxieties during the mission and states that he's available to join them on missions at any time.

- Phog is rather good at sports, having scored a game-winning touchdown for his team at age 15.
