Ormus is Disc 1, Track 4 on the Xenosaga Original Soundtrack, Disc 1, Track 6 on the Xenosaga Episode I album, and Track 2 on the Xenosaga ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK PREVIEW. The melody at 0:39 is shared with The Resurrection and The Miracle.

It plays in the following cutscenes:

  • Febronia greets the party in the Old Church during the party's Encephalon dive into KOS-MOS' subconscious domain.
  • Febronia requests that Shion release her sisters from their dreamworld.
  • Shion disarms KOS-MOS's subconscious domain protection in the room where she is 'crucified'.

A version of the track, shortened to just the first few notes and looped, plays as the area music inside the church room on Pleroma.

The lyrics were written by Tetsuya Takahashi and translated into Latin by Ukon Kurisawa. (Different vocal parts sing different lyrical lines, hence the splitting of the lyrics into sections below.)

「The Miracle」
