Original text

This is an ambient piece, but there is a lone melodic violin that joins midway through. The first time it appears, I deliberately keep its tonality vague. It creates a feeling of unease that I thought would work well in some cutscenes. In the latter half, the melody comes in, but I still tried to keep that uneasy feeling so it would fit with “misgivings.” I don’t think I would have been able to write such an unpleasant piece if not for the Xenoblade series.
