Miqol (ミゴール, Migol), is a character in Xenoblade Chronicles. He is the chief of the Hidden Machina Village. He is Egil's and Vanea's father.
Appearance and personality[edit]
Miqol is a Machina with orange accents and always-closed eyes. While it is difficult to distinguish between what is his body and what is not, he appears to be a fat man sitting in a hovering wheelchair, with an ornate back and thin legs.
Miqol is a friendly man that enjoys a good laugh, and cares deeply for the village that he leads.
Story arc[edit]
After Shulk and his party discover the Machina on the Fallen Arm, Miqol asks to see them. After confirming that the party does indeed carry the Monado, he asks that they kill Egil, his out-of-control son who has set the Mechon against the Bionis. He explains some history of the titans, that Egil cannot let go of how the Bionis attacked the Mechonis and his blind revenge is what has caused the Machina to go into hiding. It is soon revealed that Dickson also knows Miqol, and has traded information for technology in the past.
Miqol remains in the village until the Mechonis begins to awaken. Warned by Alvis, he sets Junks to save the party from Agniratha, and then uses it to take them into the Mechonis' core to pursue Egil. After Egil is defeated, he takes the group back to Colony 6, from where they can fly into the Bionis' Interior and chase their next foe.
Miqol is briefly seen at the end of Future Connected.
