Lore[edit]

  • Meyneth is the soul of the Mechonis, and was once the human scientist Galea.
  • Being a god, she requires a physical body to inhabit, particularly the body of a being born of either Titan.
  • Meyneth understood and accepted the nature of her existence, choosing to live for the benefit of her children, the Machina, rather than prolonging her life at the cost of others.
    • It is for this reason that Mechonis life does not always return to the titan upon death, and why the titan has less ether within and around it than Bionis.
    • Further still, this is why Galahad Fortress was constructed; both to empower the Mechonis and deprive the Bionis of Zanza's most crucial resource; ether.
  • While her previous vessel is mentioned offhandedly by Zanza, the only vessel of Meyneth known of is Fiora.
    • Even though she originates from Bionis, Fiora was selected as Meyneth's vessel with the hope of preventing Shulk from following in Zanza's footsteps.
    • Unlike Zanza, who willingly subsumed Arglas and possessed Shulk, this was not Meyneth's decision. Vanea chose Fiora as Meyneth's vessel.
  • While she deeply loves and cherishes the Machina, she would come to view Egil in much the same light as Zanza.
  • Being the soul of the Mechonis, she is able at times to counteract Egil's commands, showcased multiple times.
    • She is able to break free from Egil's remote override, with some difficulty.
    • She activates her Monado in Galahad Fortress to counteract the Apocrypha Generator.
    • She undoes Gadolt's brainwashing in Agniratha.
