Melia - Ancient Memories is Disc 8, Track 13 on the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Original Soundtrack and Disc 19, Track 13 on the Xenoblade Chronicles Original Soundtrack Trinity Box.

It uses motifs adapted from Eryth Sea from 0:38, and from Alcamoth, Imperial Capital at 2:08.

It plays in the following cutscenes:

  • Nia tells the party about the bifurcation and reintersection of the universe(s) at the start of Chapter 7.
  • Melia speaks with the party following her release from the Eternal Prison in Chapter 7.

The track also plays in the first section of the game's credits.

In Future Redeemed, it plays when Riku tells Matthew that his masterpon is Melia in an optional cutscene in Riku's Workshop.

高橋監督から「「1」のモチーフを使うと良いかも」とコメントを頂き、 「エルト海」をモチーフに選び制作しまし た。エルト海を延々と泳いでマップを埋めた日々が思い出されます…。 「1」 の時はコーラスは全て自分で歌っ ておりましたので、この曲はその雰囲気を残したいと思い自分で歌いました。 この曲はACEさんと一緒に録音を させて頂きました。 録音が終わったその足で十万石まんじゅうを買いに行ったのを覚えています。

The English name for this track was misspelt in the JASRAC copyright data as 'Meria - Ancient Memories'. This was fixed for the release of the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Original Soundtrack.
