maybe tomorrow~ending medley is Disc 2, Track 17 on the Xenosaga III: Also Sprach Zarathustra Original Sound Best Tracks album.
It is split into 3 main sections. The first is from the start of the track until 3:26; the second is from 3:26 until 6:06; the third is from 6:06 until the end.
The first section plays in the ending cutscene, during Shion's monologue just before the credits. The third section plays during the final shot of KOS-MOS's body over Lost Jerusalem after the credits. The second section does not play in-game; hepatica#3~I believe in you plays in its place during the credits.
The first section is a vocal version of title screen. maybe tomorrow (violin ver.) is a version of this section of the track with the vocals replaced by a violin.
The second section is a medley, consisting of the following pieces/melodies:
- the battle of your soul (3:26 to 3:43)
- battle vs. Yuriev/the first section of maiden of the apocalypse (3:43 to 3:59)
- The second section of maiden of the apocalypse (3:59 to 4:16)
- Xenosaga II opening theme/Sweet Song (Xenosaga II ending theme) (4:16 to 5:00)
- hepatica (KOS-MOS) (5:00 to 5:29)
- The second section of a prelude to the tragedy/promised pain (5:29 to 6:06)
The third section is a reprise of the first section.
Official lyrics[edit]
the moon is gone
and the night is still so dark
I'm a little bit afraid of tomorrow
for this day was so long and hard for me
and I've lost some of the things so far I have trusted
now I will close my heart and sleep a while
bless my dream with gentle darkness
until I could have my strength
to wait for the light
maybe tomorrow....
I've come through
some betrayal, some old pains,
some addiction to the love
and some good-bye[1]
like you did,
like my mother, father did,
I will cry a little while
and wait for tomorrow
there's no way to be free from the loneliness
it took so long for me to notice
but now I am on my way to find my light
maybe this day....
maybe tomorrow....
I will sleep a while, until the dawn wakes me up again
I still believe....come what may....
there is no way to be free from love
deeper we sink in the darkness
brighter is[2] shines in our hearts
the lights of love
the moon is gone
and the night is still so dark
I'm a little bit afraid of tomorrow
but I will go....
I'll go over....
I will go....
