Materials Stakeout is a Merc Mission in Xenoblade Chronicles 2. It is received automatically during the main story quest Lila's Location after finding the green barrels at the Old Industrial District. The mission requires 30 minutes to be completed, down to 7 minutes by dispatching Blades with enough levels of the suggested Field Skills.

The mission will disappear if the quest is completed, making it missable.

It is possible to get both the info item Barrels' Destination and this completed merc mission on the same file by waiting for the mission to be completed, obtaining the info item then opening the Merc Group menu to receive the mission's rewards.
