Biography[edit]
Abounnasr was born on the 10th of January, 1990 in London, England.[1] She initially got into piano and composing at 7 years old,[2] and became more serious about pursuing composing as a career while taking a variety of music classes at the age of 14.[2] Abounnasr also discovered video game music at this time, specifically with the game Klonoa 2: Lunatea's Veil.[2]
Abounnasr received her Bachelors degree in music from the University of London and her Masters degree from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance.[1] During her studies, she met Yasunori Mitsuda and began work with Procyon Studio as an orchestrator.[2] Abounnasr's first major work as a composer was for the soundtrack of Another Eden. She has continued to work as a composer, arranger and orchestrator of music with Procyon Studio until present.
Relevance to the Xeno series[edit]
Abounnasr has arranged and orchestrated many compositions (primarily those of Yasunori Mitsuda) into the pieces featured in the games' music and other official releases. More recently, she has also composed pieces of her own.
