The M.W.S., short for Multiple Weapon System are a series of weapons used by Shion Uzuki in the Xenosaga series created by Vector Industries First R&D Division machinist Miyuki Itsumi. It is Shion's primary weapon throughout the trilogy.

Mark I[edit]

The Mark I is the first advent of the design that is the size of a medieval shield decorated with the Vector Logo. It is an orange boxy gauntlet that covers the user's entire arm. It is armed with a variety of weapons including knuckle punching, taser rods, anti-Gnosis beam launchers and it is compatible with a variety of Ether abilities. It also has a built-in shield that utilizes spatial phase shifting, providing the user a high defense was well as a high offense. It has a built-in logic drive to cancel its own weight and increase the impact of attacks. In theory it can also go tow to tow with an A.G.W.S. or a tank. It is compatible with the Transfer System, allowing it to materialize into the user's arm at will. Shion wields this model throughout Episode I until she replaced it with the Mark II model in Episode II, although Miyuki uses this model in Episode III.
Mark II[edit]

The Mark II, called the White Silver is an improved version of the original. It is more compact and streamlined compared to the previous design. It is colored metallic silver and a black paint job and decorated with the Vector logo, this new version fits nicely on the user's arm. With the exception of the knuckle assembly, it is armed with the previous armaments from the Mark I. After Shion's departure from Vector, the Vector logo is completely removed. Shion starts using the Mark II prior to touching down at Second Miltia and continues using it after she left Vector.
Gameplay[edit]
The M.W.S. is the only weapon Shion is able to use in Episode I, but it can be equipped with variety of ammo. In Episode II, the M.W.S. Mark II is Shion's weapon. In Episode III, Shion starts out with the White Silver M.W.S.; Shion can buy more M.W.S. at various shops throughout the game. The strongest M.W.S. is the Miyuki Special, created from a Rough Geocrystal.

- Regardless what M.W.S. Shion is equipped at the time, her boss battle depicts her wielding the White Silver M.W.S..
