Lower Level is a sub-area in Mor Ardain in Xenoblade Chronicles 2. It is where the party first arrives in Mor Ardain.
Landscape[edit]
The lower level of Mor Ardain is located on the upper side of the Titan, along its left-side flank, under its left shoulder. It spans from the Titan's left shoulder all the way to its chest area, where the Old Factory can be found. Much like the rest of the Titan, it mostly features wastelands, with a few Ardainian facilities, both abandoned and and in activity, found there.
Port Anangham, the main point of entry into this side of Mor Ardain, can be found at the center of the area, linking Chansagh Wastes, on the front of the Titan and north of the port, and the Cargo Transportation Zone, on its left side. The Cargo Transportation Zone functions as the main way to get inside the capital, Alba Cavanich, for goods and people coming from the port, with lifts traveling up to the city.
Chansagh Wastes, an expensive wasteland, going all the way to the Titan's chest area, which is home to powerful monsters. Lined on the area's wall, going up all the way to the Upper Level of the Titan, are abandoned buildings from the Old Industrial District. The wastes are separated from the port with a gate, kept shut most of the time due to the monsters' threat. Looming over it is an abandoned excavation site and Eggle Jetty, a set of abandoned scaffoldings.
Thermal Exhausts, tunnels dug into the Titan, come out around the Titan's left side, linking to the bottom of the Great Heat Extraction Duct, a pool of the Titan's ether from which heat is seemingly extracted to produce energy.
The Fief of Forgetfulness, a piece of land on the leftmost part of the Titan's shoulder, supports Hardhaigh Palace and its bridge to the capital.
