Linada (リナーダ, Linada), is a character in Xenoblade Chronicles. She is a doctor from the Hidden Machina Village who helps Fiora survive on her own.
Appearance and personality[edit]
Linada is a Machina with blue accents. While it is difficult to distinguish between body and clothes, she possesses aqua-coloured goggles, flared elbows, ridged knees and heels, and two wing-like structures, and two huge globes on her head.
Linada is a doctor that walks the line between caring for her patients and holding a no-nonsense attitude.
Story arc[edit]
After Shulk and his party fall from Galahad Fortress to the Fallen Arm, they discover the Hidden Village. Linada is the first Machina seen to greet them. She welcomes the party but quickly focuses her attention on Fiora, who she recognizes as being made into a Face Mechon and thus needs attention. The diagnosis is that because Fiora has been out of her chassis for a while, she needs a new part to regain her strength. Shulk goes to fetch the part from the Mechon around the Fallen Arm, and Linada installs it. Fiora quickly recovers and is determined to join Shulk's quest. Linada idly wonders if it might be possible to regenerate Fiora's missing organic parts, and says she will try as hard as possible for it, but is not optimistic. She then gives the party the key to allow them to access the Mechonis.
Linada is briefly seen at the end of Future Connected.
